Description
The 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher course provides construction workers with essential knowledge for safely working on and around supported scaffolds. Students will review key safety principles, common hazards, and regulatory requirements related to scaffold use on construction projects.
Topics covered include scaffold components, load capacities, proper access and egress, fall protection requirements, hazard identification, inspection procedures, and worker responsibilities. The course also addresses common causes of scaffold accidents and methods for preventing injuries and fatalities.
This course is intended for workers who currently use supported scaffolds and need refresher training to maintain compliance with New York City construction safety regulations. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate documenting completion of the required training.

Students will receive a 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher certificate. This course helps satisfy New York City DOB scaffold refresher training requirements for workers who use supported scaffolds on construction sites.

This course is delivered through SafeTek's DOB-compliant online learning platform and may include identity verification, attendance monitoring, and active proctoring requirements. Successful completion of all course requirements is required before a certificate can be issued. Students must complete the training using their own identity and may be required to verify their identity throughout the course.
