Requirements
• Qualifying OSHA Construction training or a plan to complete the required OSHA training separately before SST Worker Card processing. OSHA training is not included.
• Students following the OSHA 10 pathway must provide their qualifying OSHA 10 Construction completion card.
• Valid government-issued photo identification for enrollment and identity verification.
• A compatible device and reliable internet connection, with a working camera and microphone where required.
• Completion of all required instructional hours, identity checks, participation activities and assessments for the included courses.
• Submission of all required OSHA and SST documentation before SST Worker Card issuance.
• Review of any existing training certificates to confirm the package satisfies the student's outstanding DOB SST requirements.
Description
The 32-Hour SST Worker Package (Online) provides comprehensive construction safety training for workers pursuing an NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Site Safety Training (SST) Worker Card. The package covers fall prevention, Chapter 33 site safety, supported scaffold safety, mental health awareness, hazard recognition and safe work practices.
This package is intended to supplement a student's existing qualifying OSHA training. OSHA training is not included. Students must complete or provide the required OSHA documentation and satisfy all applicable DOB training requirements before their SST Worker Card can be issued.
WHO THIS PACKAGE IS FOR
This package is designed for construction and demolition workers who need additional SST training to obtain their NYC DOB SST Worker Card. It is particularly suited to workers following the OSHA 10 pathway who need the prescribed SST courses and applicable elective hours. Students must have qualifying OSHA training and should have their existing certificates reviewed before enrolling.

IMPORTANT NOTES
• SST WORKER CARD INCLUDED: SST Worker Card issuance and processing are included for eligible students who successfully complete the required training and provide all necessary documentation.
• OSHA TRAINING IS NOT INCLUDED. Students must complete the applicable OSHA training separately or provide their existing qualifying OSHA completion card.
• Students using the OSHA 10 pathway must provide a qualifying OSHA 10 Construction card. The applicable DOB pathway requires 30 additional SST hours; this 32-hour package contains two additional hours of training.
• For students following an OSHA 30-based 40-Hour SST package pathway, SafeTek requires OSHA 30 Construction training to be completed in person. Online OSHA 30 is not accepted by SafeTek for that package pathway.
• Students must submit their OSHA card, valid photo identification and applicable previous training certificates before SST Worker Card processing.
• The proposed course combination includes additional prescribed courses beyond the minimum OSHA 10 pathway. Students should review their existing training to avoid repeating courses unnecessarily.
• The 4-Hour Supported Scaffold course in this proposed online package is the SST-only version. It does not independently issue a separate Supported Scaffold User Card.
• All online training must be completed personally by the registered student. Account sharing or having another person complete training is prohibited.
• Students must complete all instructional hours, identity verification procedures, participation monitoring and required course assessments.
• Online delivery must match SafeTek's current DOB approval for each individual component course.
• SST Worker Card issuance is subject to verification of all applicable NYC DOB training and eligibility requirements.

UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Upon successful completion, students receive the applicable completion certificates for the courses included in the package. Eligible students who submit their qualifying OSHA documentation and satisfy all outstanding NYC DOB requirements will also receive an SST Worker Card. SST Worker Card issuance and processing are included in the package.
ONLINE TRAINING
Students complete the approved online components through SafeTek's learning platform. All online training must be completed personally by the registered student. Identity verification, participation monitoring, instructional time and assessments apply as required for each course. Self-paced delivery is available only for courses approved for that format.
