Description
The 10-Hour SST Worker Package is an online training package designed for workers who already possess a valid OSHA 30 card and need the remaining Site Safety Training (SST) hours required to qualify for a NYC SST Worker Card under Local Law 196.
This package includes:
- 8-Hour Fall Prevention Course
- Choice of:
- 2-Hour Drug & Alcohol Awareness Course
- OR
- 2-Hour Mental Health Awareness Course
SST Card is included upon the successful completion of this course and verification of a valid OSHA 30 Construction card in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.
This package is intended for construction workers seeking to upgrade from OSHA 30 to the full 40-Hour SST Worker requirement for New York City job sites.
Students will receive training on fall hazard prevention, safe work practices, and workplace awareness in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.
Important Notes:
- Beginning August 1, 2026, the 2-Hour Drug & Alcohol Awareness Course will no longer be available and cannot be used for SST purposes under NYC DOB requirements.
- Until August 1, 2026, students may choose either the 2-Hour Drug & Alcohol Awareness Course or the 2-Hour Mental Health Awareness Course to satisfy the SST requirement.
- This package does not replace OSHA 30 training.
- A valid OSHA 30 card is required before taking this package.
- All online training must be completed by the registered student only.
- Identity verification and online participation monitoring may be required during the course.
