Requirements
• Qualifying OSHA Construction training or an existing qualifying OSHA completion card. OSHA training is not included in this package.
• Existing SST Worker Card or applicable previous SST training certificates for review of upgrade eligibility.
• Prior completion of 8-Hour Fall Prevention and 2-Hour Mental Health Awareness, or confirmation that the student's existing training otherwise satisfies the applicable DOB requirements.
• Valid government-issued photo identification for enrollment and identity verification.
• A compatible device and reliable internet connection, with a working camera and microphone where required.
• Completion of all required instructional hours, participation activities and assessments for the eight included courses.
• Submission of all required OSHA and SST documentation before SST Supervisor Card issuance.
Description
The 22-Hour SST Supervisor Upgrade Package (Online) is designed for eligible construction workers who need additional Site Safety Training to upgrade to an NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) SST Supervisor Card. The package provides 22 hours of training covering Chapter 33, supported scaffold safety, safety planning and communication, hazard recognition and specialized construction safety topics.
This package builds on the student's existing qualifying OSHA and SST training. OSHA training is not included. Students must provide their existing OSHA card and applicable SST certificates before their SST Supervisor Card can be processed.
WHO THIS PACKAGE IS FOR
This package is intended for experienced construction workers advancing into foreman, competent person or supervisory positions who have already completed qualifying OSHA and SST training. It is also suitable for eligible SST Worker Card holders who need the specific additional courses included in this package to complete their SST Supervisor training requirements.
Students should have their existing training records reviewed before enrolling to confirm that this package provides the courses they still need.

IMPORTANT NOTES
• SST SUPERVISOR CARD INCLUDED: SST Supervisor Card issuance and processing are included for eligible students who successfully complete the required training and submit all necessary documentation.
• OSHA TRAINING IS NOT INCLUDED. Students must complete their qualifying OSHA training separately or provide their existing OSHA completion card.
• Students must submit their OSHA card, existing SST Worker Card or applicable SST training certificates, and valid photo identification before SST Supervisor Card processing.
• This package does not include 8-Hour Fall Prevention or 2-Hour Mental Health Awareness. Students must have already completed those courses or otherwise satisfy the applicable DOB training requirements.
• The 4-Hour Supported Scaffold course in this online package is the SST-only version. It does not independently issue a separate Supported Scaffold User Card.
• Students who have already completed any included courses should have their previous training records reviewed to avoid duplicate training.
• All online training must be completed personally by the registered student. Account sharing or having another person complete any portion of the training is prohibited.
• Students must complete all instructional hours, identity verification procedures, participation monitoring and required assessments.
• Online delivery must match SafeTek's current DOB approval for each individual component course.
• Completion of this package alone does not guarantee SST Supervisor Card eligibility. All prior training and applicable NYC DOB requirements must be verified before card issuance.

UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Upon successful completion, students receive the applicable completion certificates for the eight courses included in the package. Eligible students who provide their qualifying OSHA documentation, previous SST certificates and any other required records will also receive an NYC DOB SST Supervisor Card. SST Supervisor Card issuance and processing are included in the package, subject to verification of all applicable requirements.
ONLINE TRAINING
Students complete the approved online courses through SafeTek's learning platform. All training must be completed personally by the registered student. Identity verification, participation monitoring, instructional time and assessments apply as required for each course. Self-paced delivery is available only for courses approved for that format.
