Requirements

Students must have a valid OSHA 30 Construction card issued within the last 5 years.

A government-issued photo ID is required for student verification.

Students must have access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection.

Device must include a working camera and microphone for identity verification and/or course proctoring requirements where applicable.

Students must complete all required course hours, participation activities, and assessments to receive completion certificates.

Description

The 22-Hour SST Upgrade Package is an online training program designed for construction workers and supervisors who already possess a valid OSHA 30 card and need additional Site Safety Training (SST) hours to satisfy NYC Local Law 196 requirements.

This package includes:

1-Hour Protection from Sun Exposure Course
1-Hour First Aid & CPR Course
1-Hour Flag Person Course
1-Hour Confined Space Entry Course
8-Hour Chapter 33 Site Safety Manager Refresher Course
2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP) Course
4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher Course
2-Hour Tool Box Talks Course
2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings Course

SST Card is included upon the successful completion of this course and verification of a valid OSHA 30 Construction card in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.

This package is intended for construction workers, supervisors, foremen, and competent persons seeking to upgrade their SST training credentials for work on New York City construction sites.

Students will receive training on construction hazard recognition, site safety procedures, fall prevention, worker communication, scaffold safety, and supervisory safety responsibilities in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.

Important Notes:

This package does not include OSHA 30 training.

A valid OSHA 30 card is required before taking this package.

Students who successfully complete this package, together with a qualifying OSHA 30 card, may become eligible for additional SST card requirements depending on their current training status.

All online training must be completed by the registered student only.

Identity verification and online participation monitoring may be required during the course.
